Julia Gillard's former Altona home at 9 Medford Street will be open for inspection on November 23.
The 1960s-style home was bought for $140,000 in 1998 and renovated in 2008.
Real
estate agents are saying the house could fetch upwards of $600,000
which is situated on a 603-square-metre block due to the history of the
home which housed Australia's first female Prime Minister.
The house will go up for auction at 2pm on December 14 through Jas Stephens of Williamstown.
Ms Gillard will trade the Altona home for a $2 million bungalow in Adelaide.
